A container truck overturned on its side on a Singapore road in the early afternoon (local time) on 26 June, causing it to be closed to traffic for seven hours.
Footage from nearby vehicles and Facebook group SG Road Vigilante showed that the truck appeared to swerve to avoid another container truck in front of it.
However, the truck crashed into the road divider and flipped on its side, resulting in debris spilling across the road in the western part of the city-state.
Traffic slowed to a crawl as emergency responders scampered to clear the road.
The driver in the overturned truck reportedly sustained minor injuries and declined to be sent to a hospital, according to the Singapore Civil Defence Force.
The police said they received a report about the accident just before 1pm local time on 26 June, and the road was reopened around 8.30pm.
